It’s easy to feel very defeated when watching TV and reading the news. The same voices repeating the same arguments and the same conspiracy theories, and then I hear these same stupid things repeated by people who just repeat without giving a moment of critical thought. So it gives me great hope when I run across some young people who are speaking out with their own voices and not just parroting the pied pipers like Zaid Hamid. We don’t have to agree 100% about every issue – everybody cannot agree all the time – but we should use our brains to think critically about the world around us and think about how we can make our country better. So when I saw this video, a tear came to my eye. This is the future of Pakistan, and this gives me hope.
