Men, women and children belonging to the most marginalized segments of the society including gypsy community, brick kiln workers, sanitary workers, trans-genders, Persons with Disabilities, and religious minorities has questioned the government and the responsible state institutions and departments about their human rights in a Rally held in front of Lahore Press Club on 9th December 2016 under the auspices of Centre for Human Rights Education- Pakistan, with the support of the Members of Rwadari Tehreek and other civil society groups and organizations.
Response to Allegations by Express TV.
A number of accusations have been made against me on Express TV by the anchor Ahmed Quraishi. I would like to put on record that these accusations are completely false and constitute incitement to violence, hate speech, slander, and libel.

With the successive governments the reality of freedom of expression grows thinner and thinner as the right guaranteed by the Constitution of Pakistan is further constricted. Apart from blatant interference by the government, freedom of expression is also being squeezed by non-state actors without any hindrance from the authorities.

In view of the discussion on human rights, which is due to be held during the month of September 2013, the Asian Legal Resource Centre (ALRC) would like to direct the attention of the Human Rights Council (HRC) to denial of justice and fair trail being faced by several young Pakistanis detained in Saudi Arabia.
