Nawaz Sharif: Martial Law Not An Option

There is no possibility of imposition of another martial law in the country, rather corrupt people should be thrown out, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday. He said this while visiting Charsadda district where he was spending Eid with the flood affectees. Talking to the media, Nawaz said that failure of the government cannot be described as the failure of democracy and added that there was no need of a military operation in Balochistan. He urged the federal government to stand by the flood affectees and start rehabilitation. “Our resources are not so limited that we cannot rehabilitate the flood victims,” Nawaz said. The PML-N chief also called upon the judiciary and parliament to throw out corrupt people. He criticised the government for its inability to take proper measures in time to help the affectees, so they could also celebrate Eid properly.
